Taipei

Waiting  for the last leg of my flight in Taipei airport’s butterfly garden. Tropical greenery, very comfy chairs,  a lovely center piece and three small doors at the far end, each with a discreet symbol of faith identifying them as three tiny chapels. Quiet and meditative. Nice place to sit.image

Things looked bad for Norbert and he knew it. Still he took comfort in his fungi connection to the Wood Wide Web* which kept him connected to his support group in spite of the distance between them.

*The Wood Wide Web is an affectionate term used to describe the network of soil fungi that spreads across acres and acres and serves to facilitate communication between trees. Really! Check out Peter Wohllenben’s book: The Hidden Life of Trees!
