Loose flagstones

bolts and screws    Riding along the seawall on my way to and fro anywhere really, there is a stretch paved entirely of loose, uneven flagstones.  The surface rattles the bike  most unpleasantly.  I feel like my bike is about to break apart, sending screws and bolts and anything that holds the bike together flying off to nestle among the loose flagstones. I have in fact lost the odd screw along the way and also picked up cargo and bits of plastic parts loosed from other bikes.  Sure wish that section would get repaved.

First solo trip

Shades of Grey!

I knew I’d lingered too long in Vancouver when I realized grey was now my favourite colour!  In my travels I do tend to linger in certain places.  When I find a place I like, where I am comfortable, I like to stop for awhile, find friends, make a temporary home until it’s time to go again.  Scan 138
