The Birdhouse

I don t really know how’s this tree got passed up in the Inktober posts. It was posted on Facebook, but somehow didn’t get in the blog. I just found out today as I was doing some November writing on the trees and there was one missing. I had to go back to the originals. Of course as soon as I came across the birdhouse, I knew that was it. This tree came from Hawaii. I love the way the bird sounds gather there and fill the park with their song.

So please welcome this late-comer to the blog!

Comparing

Another tree noticed on my bike ride through Ontario Park, Kingston. He definitely had a look of disappointment in his performance compared to the trees around him flamboyant with foliage.

I was lucky enough to share my comparison distress with my friend Nic who assured me that this was a personal challenge, not a competition and that I would do just fine. I’ve enjoyed the challenge much more after that.
